Saturday night in Udaipur begins with a ride into the Old City to see an art exhibition of a friend. This followed by a visit to a friendly local repair shop after finding the rear tire of the Hero flat. (Right. I have a motorcycle – she’s a late ’80′s beauty. “The best they ever made,” according to many an impressed local). Cap the evening with dinner and a street-side coffee with friends, Arjun and Wendy. Rock steady, life is good.

Have you bought your WV stock of tiffins yet? At a CVI conference last week, during a tour of the new facilities I caught a glimpse of these shiny metal soil sifters. “Tiffins!” I cry. The bystanders eagerly glean tiffin information before moving on the the high-tech German composting toilet.
